Good news! Beta will be ENDED in early december :)

I have been up all night (North America here). I am GMT -5 and it is just before 8am here. I have stayed up all night in case there would be a darkfall announcement from athens digital week.

To be honest, I had made myself forget about it. That was until I logged off of Warhammer Online last night and did a quick check of my favorites and said.. o shit... it the 16th. Great move Sean, great move

Anyone else lack the balls to pull themselves away from the F5 button on forumfall?

so what do you guys think the reaction of the community would be if they had no info from athens digital week? It sounds like 3 or 4 years ago they said beta was close and obviously didnt follow through. Would it be catostrophic for the game?

The event was great, about 120 people watched the presentation although at first Tasos feared there would not be many people because of the day an hour it took place. The game was there, running live, over the internet and not some offline version. Performance is great although I don't know what kind of machine they were running it on and it was running for a good hour I think without crashing, glitching or showing any other problems. Right at the end of the presentation the game seemed to crash to the desktop and everyone when uh-oh. But the message that poped up was that the connection to the server had been lost… Greek internet connections ftw.

The big news that I was told I can share with the community is that OPEN beta will be FINISHED by the start of December and release will follow soon after. So… stay on your toes.
