If, instead of irc.modemet.se, you had your chan put up on IRCnet or QuakeNet, I'd join. I already have 2 networks that I'm on (ircnet and qnet obviously), and I won't be bothered opening yet another network..

I dont know how to use damn thing. I downloaded IRC and dont know really how to join your server. Well at least i know how to use vent. :oops:

Got one myself, irc.h4xx.biz. It's currently down though. I got no use of the server hosting it atm so it's turned off.

irc is a fast way to communitcate setting up eggdrops etc aint hard so we can have some spammage going on when its needed. lemme kno and ill sort it for you all.

@ rhasta to connect press the lightning in the left corner once connnected type in /j channel and hit enter.

Good thing to do would be this.

Make a now chan to example. quakenet.

that maybe one of the most common servers.

For new members, irc is a must, and somebody could make a proper "guide" how to use example. mIRC.

But anyways, I'm now alone with a guy called sventon, so hop hop, get in here people.

we should just use quakenet, or stratics irc where the official DF channel is, such a hassle connecting to servers all over the place.

I'll see if I can't force myself to open another server window this weekend though

Haven't been on IRC since I tried dividing up bandwith on a slackware box.. that were on freenode.. but from what I remember you just need to write /server irc.freenode.net (for freenode) then /join #somechan .real easy, I had several servers on all the time. so 3 is not that hard

Of course not, just write /server -m server-address-here to connect to multiple server simultaneously (mIRC), but the thing is that I don't want to have a server that has just one channel under it (Comparing to Qnet, server window + 7 channels).

So tell me if you decide to use Quakenet. then I'll join.
