Call of Duty 5 !

After the long wait its finally coming closer! The official release date is 11th November 2008 !!!

Call of Duty 5 will be running on the same engine as Call of Duty 4 but instead of a warscene set in modern times, CoD 5 will be going back to it's origins as it was in CoD1 and CoD2 ---> World War 2 <--- focusing on the pasific and Asia.

Some new features include Capture the flag, flamethrowers, 5 kill streak artillery support and 7 kill streak German sheppard dog support

! There is also an Online co op campaign to play where you can revive each other and play strategic etc

I am more to modern warfare than WW2 or those kinds... so I will play COD5 ofc, but not so into as I was when COD4 was coming up

Fyi, I was at a screening with Activision and they told me that they had two teams working on the CoD series. One doing Call of duty modern style and one doing the ww2 style. They will release every other year, so next year will feature "modern warfare 2ish".

Also about the Quantum of Solace game, thats released by a third division of Activision, it uses the CoD4 game engine and will - supposedly - be hella good, as it has been in development for 2 years now. Might be more fun multiplayer stuff there waiting, than really old weapons.
