Tasos talked about a "video followup update" and a gaming tournament in October. Also he said the ingame graphic would be "considerable better" than you see in the screenshots and "much better" than in the video.

/e: Apparently on this gaming tournament Aventurine is hosting, they'll show off Darkfall and (my assumption) you might be able to play the game.
They didn't say one thing about beta though which supposedly will start in october as well.
