Yes thats true, thats why i bought ATI Radeon HD 4850 few weeks ago.

well ati only beats nvidia on performance for price.

In terms of performance geforce cards get higher benchmarks.

eg my card vs a 4870 X2 there isnt THAT much difference and my card is a single gpu whereas the X2 is two 4870s on the same card.
So if it was a fair test id have two 280 gtx and id wipe the floor with it :)
